What did we see when testing Concat 0.2.7?

  • A 32-second 1080p project with captions exported in about 40 seconds on a CPU with software rendering.
  • Whisper Base (English) transcribed a 7-second voiceover in about 20 seconds on the CPU.
  • Text to speech with Kokoro failed until Pocket TTS was also downloaded.
  • Export waited without an error when a file with the same name already existed. Renaming the output fixed it.
  • Templates tab has no built-in library. You save your own project as a template.
  • The --mcp flag and Settings > Automation were not present in the 0.2.7 release we tested, although the README describes them.

Each of these is covered in a guide: text to speech not working, export stuck and templates.
